On Sunday, fire destroyed Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center in west Little Rock. Authorities have ruled the fire an accident and no injuries were reported but the building is a total loss.
It is believed the fire was the result of maintenance being performed on the roof of the building.
The crisis pregnancy center was located directly across the street from Arkansas’ only surgical abortion facility. Over the years the center has helped countless women choose options besides abortion.
Because of the fire, the crisis pregnancy center’s office will be closed until further notice. The center will be offering services through its mobile unit.
Pregnancy resource centers provide support for young women with unplanned pregnancies. They offer vital resources and empower women to choose an alternative to abortion. They offer pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, adoption information, and many other valuable services — all free of charge.
To keep offering these services, the staff reported on its website that it needs financial support from pro-life Arkansans in the wake of the fire.
You can give to the center via facebook.
